We love beef. We love the way it tastes, the animals it comes from, and the cowboy culture that is integral to raising pasture-raised, grass-fed beef. We love watching our herds graze on open land, the sound they make as they munch and chew fresh green grass. We are ranchers and we love the way cows and pastures come together to make delicious and healthy meat.
Our Ranches & Herds
With cattle ranches in Virginia, California, Argentina, and Uruguay, Estancia is dedicated to producing healthy beef the way nature intended. The beef we sell in the US comes from our Uruguay herds, but we will be integrating US-raised beef into our production line once we can ensure that the safety standards and animal welfare considerations during processing meet the same high-level that we have in our Uruguay operation.
Cows & Cowboys
At Estancia we care more about sustainable practices than we do about short-term profits. We rely on the centuries-old traditions of cowboys and ranching, but we also employ the latest technology to ensure that our animals are never stressed or suffer. We're cutting edge cowboys and tech-savvy ranchers. We value the wisdom of our cowboys as much as we do the technology that makes us leaders in traceability and safety.
Our long-term vision preserves the grasslands our cattle graze and the local gauchos who watch over them. This blend of old and new, of tradition and technology, is what makes Estancia the market leader in grass-fed, pasture-raised beef.
